We are thrilled to share some exciting news with our AIU community and supporters! 

American International University – Kuwait has been nominated for the Zairi International Awards for Excellence in Higher Education in the 4th Cycle (2024–2025). This nomination places AIU among a select group of institutions recognized for excellence in education, innovation, and community engagement. 

Specifically, AIU has been nominated in the category:  "Award of Excellence for Outstanding Not-for-Profit Contribution to the Community." 

This recognition is a proud moment for all of us. It highlights our continuous efforts to go beyond the classroom and make a meaningful impact in our local and regional communities. Whether through outreach programs, educational initiatives, or community-driven partnerships, AIU remains committed to using education as a force for good.

Being nominated for this international award reaffirms our values and the path we are on. It speaks to our mission of shaping well-rounded graduates who not only succeed professionally but also contribute positively to society.

The Zairi International Awards for Excellence in Higher Education are named in honor of the late Professor Mohamed Zairi, a global leader in quality and excellence in education. These awards celebrate institutions that demonstrate outstanding performance and innovation in the higher education sector. 

To be nominated is to be recognized on an international platform for going the extra mile in transforming education and enriching communities.
