On Thursday, February 16, 2023, American International University, Kuwait (AIU) and Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC) held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony to initiate a collaborative effort aimed at developing the current and future workforce of Kuwait.

The threefold purpose of this collaboration contributes to the overall professional growth of the Kuwaiti workforce. Firstly, training programs led by AIU professionals from a diverse STEM backgrounds are planned to be offered to KIPIC employees to enhance their skill sets. Secondly, internship opportunities shall be provided to AIU students to gain first-hand experience in a leading business organization in Kuwait. Lastly, a joint research program between the two organizations to help improve the knowledge base and develop innovative and disruptive market strategies.

The key objective for this collaboration, in-line with American International University’s mission, is to develop a research-based education structure that provides the future leaders of Kuwait an opportunity to thrive in a challenging world economy. These efforts also play a crucial role to fulfil the vision of Kuwait 2035.
