One of the ways we highlight our students' work is through the bi-annual Student Artork Catalogue. AIU’s design students use their creativity and ingenuity to create meaningful art pieces that we showcase around campus, in our lounges, and on our website.

In honor of the holy month of Ramadan, some of the artwork created include Islamic nuances and imagery. Some examples are drawings of the Alaqsa Mosque, Arabic calligraphy, and Al-Fatiha which can be found in this edition. Art is important in education as it fosters creativity, critical thinking, cultural understanding, emotional intelligence, communication skills, and personal growth. It enhances their cognitive and social development, helping them become well-rounded individuals with a deeper understanding of themselves and an appreciation for the world around them. Art plays a multifaceted role in society and we hope to expose our students and Kuwait to the impact it can have in our lives. 

The Student Artwork Catalog - Spring 2023 is now available to view online and pieces can be purchased at the AIU Campus Store in Building B.
