AIU Recognized at the 2022 Ellucian Middle East User Conference

Enrollment leaders from American International University in Kuwait recently attended the 2022 Ellucian Middle East User Conference in Dubai, UAE. This conference, comprised of administrators from some of the most elite public and private universities in the MENA region, allows Ellucian customers to discuss leveraging their technology platforms to enhance access, student success, and the student experience.
AIU was recognized as a leader in student services, winning the Ellucian Student Experience Award for its use of cutting-edge technological solutions to enhance the student experience. As an industry leader from its inception, AIU has operated Ellucian’s Banner Student Information System, the industry-leading ERP software in higher education. During its first three years in operation, AIU has also launched advanced student recruitment with CRM Recruit, self-registration with Banner Self-Service, an advanced student advising and early warning system using CRM Advise, and a robust curriculum planning and degree audit system with DegreeWorks. All these tools work together as an integrated suite of solutions to provide a seamless, flexible, and functional student experience.
Mr. Ryan Garrity, AIU’s Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management, also participated in a panel discussing technology and its role in increasing student growth and persistence. AIU’s enrollment has increased more than 1,000% in three years, and Mr. Garrity spoke about the various ways the University has utilized Ellucian technology to manage this growth.
